Message from the Director
As a proud alumna of the rehabilitation sector of the University of Toronto, I am honoured to promote the newly formed Rehabilitation Sciences Institute (RSI)! We provide a truly interdisciplinary training experience for graduate studies. RSI is the doctoral stream program for the Departments of Physical Therapy, Occupational Science and Occupational Therapy and now Speech-Language Pathology.
However our student body come from a broad range of disciplines such as from Biology, Biomedical Engineering, Epidemiology Health Studies, Human Kinetics, Kinesiology, Neuroscience, Public Health, Psychology, Education and Medicine. Our faculty are among the most world renown in the rehabilitation field and also come from a broad range of backgrounds. The possibilities – for research, for interdisciplinary learning, for knowledge translation – are endless.
We invite you to learn more about our outstanding research environment which includes some of the most promising young rehabilitation researchers focused on improving the lives of people and communities.
